Duration
Full day
Minimum age
Ages 10+
A kayak adventure along the Abel Tasman coastline
A little bit of everything.

THE JOURNEY

Link the heart of the park with the southern coast.

Take the water taxi into the heart of the park, then walk independently between Torrent Bay and Bark Bay. Along the way, enjoy coastal views, native bush and the Falls River swing bridge.

A water taxi then connects you to Observation Beach, where you meet your guide for the paddle back to Mārahau. The southern coast brings together beaches, caves, islands and tidal lagoons in sheltered water.

This full-day combination is designed for people who want time on the track as well as a guided kayak experience.

Your day includes

  • About three hours of guided kayaking
  • About two and a half hours of independent walking
  • Water taxi transfers

Lunch can be added when you book. Double kayaks are normally used for two or more people unless the group has an uneven number.
